2013 marks 23 years in the business of serving women with unique, superior quality, American made SOFTEE® Camisoles and other specialty garments. For many people, the consensus is that companies who manufacture products here in the United States cannot compete with those who choose to go off-shore to foreign countries to have their goods produced. I am here to tell you that is not the case. We at Ladies First have been working with the same domestic contractors and vendors since our inception in 1990. We believe strongly in the concept of supporting American companies and workers, both local and nationwide. Our garments may cost a bit more than those which our competitors offer, but we know, and it has been proven, that the American consumer is willing to pay a little extra for goods that are made in America and provide fair wage jobs to the work force who produce them. A big concern with garments manufactured outside the USA is that the fabrics, threads, laces and elastics are also manufactured in these same countries and Corporate management is not always aware of the actual fiber content. They may claim and even believe their fabrics and notions are formaldehyde, pesticide and Latex free, but in fact oftentimes they are not. We are the only company who takes the time and absorbs the added cost of purchasing only 100% Latex free fabrics and notions as well as pre-wash each one of our SOFTEE® Camisoles making certain they are chemical free, ready to wear and hospital appropriate.
